Magi's Android App Making Advetures!

Still setting up the IDE to be ready to play with, got my Sony Ericsson's USB cable out from god knows where Mum ended up pulling it out from and I a friend giving me a book on this and I think iOS apps development. (will work in it later, I need to replace my iPod screen to be able to test things. I can use it, but I can't press on it in certain places due to the screen only being held together by friendship...)

Oh god, what the Narnia Google? Following their tutorial on how to make Android apps so I understand how it works and somewhere along their line, they must have screwed something up because I followed their instructions and the app stopped working on my phone...

Google tryin to keep the little guys down!

Turns out that they neglect to inform you that what they show is different from what you will have, and to keep what you go there...

So far so good. I just hate how my app has more lines of code then Google's example.

Also, it uses mostly XML, or so far I have seen. It's fairly easy to grasp, I'll go over some XML tuts when I finish this one... in between anime.

Not really related to what I am going through, but I thought it would be best to share why we should have the premium items and services serversided.

So that apps like these don't enable cheating.
