| I have trouble sleeping some nights, and tonight is one of those nights. I finally had a break from working on homework so I started to draw more detailed concept art for the Mill I am modeling for the Demo. All I have done right now if the front view, but I can always adjust it and add changes into the other views if you all thing something needs done before I start modeling. It's almost 1 am so I was afraid I would wake someone up if I used my scanner, so I just took a crappy picture for now. [img] [/img] | |

| Ok, I had a little break from my homework and decided to do two more really quick reference pictures of the Mill. I kinda added and made changes as I went, But so far I am modeling it so it should be ok Tomorrow is my 12 hour day on campus so I will be bringing my laptop and I will start modeling part of it. I am trying to post my progress everyday. Let's see how that goes :p Back View Left Side | |

| Already failed my daily post idea. Got home from school around 10 pm and just crashed. Anyways, here is the basic structure for the mill. I will be adding the pumps and everything after I have most of the building done. | |

| Thanks. Today I will be adding the small details I have left out, and I may get started on the gears. | |

| Been awhile but i got the wheel added. Next I will add the pumps to push water through the wheel and I will figure out a way to make the wheel effect the gears. | |

| If the gears are separate objects we can just animate them in the game using a rotation. | |

| I've had a bit to drink tonight, and I decided to do some work on the Mill. I have no idea what a decent buildings poly count is but this one got to 8.5k tris I believe. I think this is an acceptable number since this will be one of the few buildings we have in the demo correct? I avoided adding a bunch of pumps to keep the poly count under 10k. I made it seem like there could be a pump in the intake pipe before it goes to the water wheel by adding a pipe going to it and having exhaust tubes on it also. I honestly don't know what else to do with it. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know, otherwise I believe it is finished. | |

| I like it. Great job. 8K tris is perfectly fine for something this big and important. | |
