For the preliminary planning of the Pokemon parody series we hopefully will get donations for. We need a creative name...
Note that we are not technically an Abridged Series since we aren't really staying true to the original storyline much 
Maybe we could call it "Pokemockery" ;P
Anyhoo, as promised here are the rough character ideas I came up with. Kenichi, please comment and discuss. Should any be changed, were any forgotten, etc. Remember, these are jut the main characters.Ash: Kid who thinks he is in the original games. Carries around a copy of the Nintendo Power Official Guide which is rumored to contain ancient prophesies that will bring about the end of the world, and so many people want it. His goal is to beat the game and use every cheat and glitch in the book to catch em all. Especially Mewtwo.
Dexter: Ash's Pokedex. AKA a PDA which has the world's only Porygon in it. Professor Oak put it there because it deleted the professor's World of Warcraft character. The professor said he would delete IT if it ever told anyone. Like Ash, Dexter had played the original games and constantly insults Ash because he isn't as awesome as Red though the two are technically the same.
Professor Oak: Creepy, crazy man who pretends to be an expert on Pokemon. In reality he just plays World of Warcraft all day.
Gary: 60-year old ex-convict with Dorian Grey Syndrome. He stalks Ash and wants to get his guide so he can bring about the end of the world. He works for Blizzard Entertainment and convinces many people he meets to play WoW.
Brock: Shaolin monk who was cast out because he refused to shave his head. He seeks the path to enlightment, AKA riches. An ancient proverb said "the path to enlightenment must be undertaken blindly," and literalist that he is, he has spent years with his eyes tightly shut.
Misty: Ninja of the water clan who has been sent to assassinate Ash and take his guide to prevent the end of the world. She is armed with ninjutsu and throwingstaryu. She is looked down on by her family, who are taller.
Pikachu: A… Pikachu. With a nasty streak. Carries a switchblade, drinks his potions on the rocks. Has some… Underworld connections. Did time with Team Rocket a few years back and so now helps them out when they pretend to capture him… 'Cause Team Rocket is still wanted and Pikachu needs to look clean for the camera. He sticks with Ash and the crew since every gangsta crime lord needs some goons, and what better goons than a delusional idiot, a monk, and a ninja?
Team Rocket: They wish to take Ash's guide for their boss so he can bring about the end of the world… The Coming of Missingno. However, Team Rocket has many different ideas as to what this really means. Pikachu works in league with them since they did time together.
